Why is the computer in the film call "HAL" ?
If you use alphabet arithmetic (ie. A+1=B, B+1=C , C+1=D,...etc.)
then
HAL becomes H+1,A+1,L+1 => IBM !!
Anybody heard this before ?

把全地球第一容電腦謀殺案直指IBM，以美國人愛打官司的風格，
作者賣三世板權，都不夠錢賠給IBM喔！
