有報導話鄧光榮曾經做過英語翻譯員，真係天大笑話！

1972年，鄧光榮向我父親購買公爵街公爵閣十一樓A座，要先付五千元(或一萬元)定金；鄧光榮拿出本支票薄，開了四、五張支票都寫錯英文字或銀碼，結果還是我父親幫佢填妥張支票。這是千真萬確的事實，亦可証明這位被受高捧的銀壇大哥有幾多料、有幾多學識？唉......................

My dad provided his English name to Tang,

asked Tang to issue a cheque of "Five thousands only" or "Ten thousands only",

& advised Tang to write the correct date.

As Tang studies in English College before, Tang didn't want to admit his poor English standard, so he tried to do that 4-5 times, but unsuccessful.

My dad supposed Tang was a smart fellow, & didn't know that Tang couldn't even write the following words properly:-

15th July, 1972

Mr. Fxxxx S. Xxx

Five thousands only.
