I suggest that we should do the following: -
1. Installed the security software.
2. If it is possible, buy a new computer for the personal information use only, do not connect to intenet.
Use your old computer for the internet browsing or other network usage only, but you have to transfer all the important data to your new computers.
3. Backup you new computer daily by schedulize the software do the job at the night sleeping time, since this computer didn't connect to any network, so you
are worry free.
4. Scan your computer everyday.
5. Use your old computer for email too.
6. On your new computer, change your passowrds once a month and make it as long as you can remember...
7. Lock your computer's power switch and the keyboard when you are aways.
8. Lock your room's door when you go away
9. Stop shopping over the internet., if you really have to, then use other people's credit card..
